So to celebrate Cubs 100th birthday there are loads of different events taking place all year. 1stwithington Cubs will be going to there biggest camp of the year down at Linnet Clough Scout camp over the May bank holiday 27th-30th. There just isn’t enough room to write down everything thats happening that weekend so we will just put a few things down to give you and idea. There will be a High ropes course,zorb football,rifle shooting,archery,disco,go karting,rock climbing and thats just to name a few. More info will be given out when we return from the Easter break.
So the Cubs and Scouts are gong on there third annual Easter trip to pgl Adventure in Boreatton Park near Shrewsbury. While there they will all share some nice cosey log cabins and do non stop activities from the minute they get up till the moment they go to bed. To celebrate 100 years of Cubs this year we are having a trip to Blackpool Pleasure Beach on Saturday 6th February.The Pleasure Beach will only be open for the Cubs through out
the northwest so there will be no queuing for us.
Note for the diary is sunday 21st june 2015 as were having a open day. Bigger and better this year as we’re having a giant inflatable fun run plus a bouncy castle as well as face painting and Bbq. More yet to be added so keep an eye out.
That time of year again folks. Were off to pgl adventure again for a weekend over easter this year. All info is on the facebook page or ask any leaders when we return after christmas and keep and eye out on here for more info. The £30 deposit is required by end of january and the rest is due by the end of febuary. And there is also a 25% discount for siblings. Any questions then speak to sharon.
To celebrate the completion of our garden renovation we’re having an Open Day on Sunday, 20th July, 12 noon-3 pm.
It’s free entry and we’ll be serving burgers and sausages (including veggie) so come and have a bite to eat. There’ll be a Commando Joe’s inflatable, beat-the-goalie and other activities to keep the kids busy.
All Beavers, Cubs and Scouts to attend in uniform please.
