Operation Impact!! By john_williams on 20/11/2011 In Uncategorized / 0 comments Days before our Centenary Open Day dozens of students volunteers descended on our scout hut armed with paint brushes and rollers. It was all part of Operation Impact, a community volunteering programme run by the University of Manchester. The students painted the main hall and the rear of the hut (previously blighted with graffiti) as well as clearing the garden of rubbish and making wooden planters. Many of the eager workers lived in Withington and were keen to contribute to their community. Operation Impact will continue to work with the Scout Group on others projects and we welcome their support. Thanks.
