Thank you Wates for our new toilets! By john_williams on 28/06/2011 In Uncategorized / 0 comments What’s this? Cubs and scouts serving sausages to yellow-vested builders outside our hut?! Yes, it was all part of the Wates Community Day 2011 when dozens of Wates’ employees descended on the hut to renovate our two toilets and make a new accessible one… all for free! But they didn’t stop with the tiling, painting and grouting… they also cut down our unruly hedge with a chainsaw and got down on all fours to weed the tarmac! Our scouts and cubs lent a hand where they could (they were off school for a training day) and made sausage sarnies for lunch. Well done to them.
